Summary: A typical university student decides to study abroad for a semester. She is studying in Seoul, South Korea. While there, she is studying Music...Music is basically her life. She is also a fan of Kpop!!! Who is she staying with?? How long will she be there?? What will happen when an average girl leaves her home country and lives in a new one??? (Probably sucky summary)
Chapter 8: The Big Surprise
I was heading over to the SME building. Fear was building up inside of me as I was afraid of what could
happen. Before when I watch music shows and Super Junior is on, Donghae always seems so nice
and caring. But yesterday when eh showed up at my class. he scared me shitless. I even tried contacting
Taemin. He didn't even pick up his phone. Then I tried calling Key. There was no answer there as well.
When I reached the building, I just stared at it. It was five till one. I had five minutes to get to the second
floor. Donghae had asked for my number so he could give me directions. So this morning I woke up to a text
saying: "1pm. SME building. 2nd floor. Room 207. Wear something nice. Also bring ID so you can get into the
building."
I looked at my purse and opened it up. I had to dig for my wallet. Once I found it, I walked in and showed the
security gaurd my ID. he then motioned for me to go inside and continue on with my day.
I found an elevator and got in it. Once I reached the second floor, I stepped out. I was now in a hallway
looking for which way to go. I decided to go left. I looked up at each door. I saw room 205 thinking I was
getting closer. Then I finally reached 207. I heard 'Tik Tok' by Ke$ha playing quite loudly. Was I in the right
building standing in front of the right door? I then slowly turned the knob and opened up the door.
I saw Key singing along to the song. I laughed at that sight. I then saw the rest of SHINee standing next to
Super Junior. I walked over to them.
"Amber!"
I looked over to where I heard someone say my name. I was wrong. f(x) was also here. I kept walking over
to Taemin. Donghae then spotted me. He had this huge smile on his face. Then he walked over to Key and
took the mic from him. The DJ noticed this and paused the music. Everyone turned their heads to
face Donghae.
"Excuse me. Sorry to stop the music. Our American guest has arrived. Let's give her a big welcome."
Then 'Low' by Flo Rida started to play. Everyone then went back to dancing. Donghae then wlaked over to
me.
"You finally showed up."
"Y-yes. What's going on?"
"We;re having a party."
"I'm confused. Yesturday you pretty much scared the shit out of me. I was nervous as hell to even show up."
Donghae then laughed. What the hell? Why was he laughing?
"Silly American. I didn't mean too."
"Didn't mean to my ass."
"Well, I knew you were goign to stay with Tae and I have a surprise for you."
I was now glaring at Donghae. He was starting to piss me off.
"What is it now?"
Then someone walked up to Donghae.
"Heechul told me to see you Hae."
I knew that voice. Why isn't she in the States? Could it really be my bestie?"
"Kate?"
I asked not sure if I was hearing things. I've been here a few weeks so anything was possible. Then the girl
looked over. There was a huge smile on both of our faces.
"Kate!" I screamed.
"Amber!" She screamed back.
We hugged each other and started to speak to each other in English. We were so hyper it wasn't even
funny. Everyone started to stare. we're used to that!!!
I stepped back.
"Oh my heck. Kate what are you doing here?"
"Well Tae found my number in your phone,-"
"Lee Taemin.."
Taemin just smiled back and I swear Kated had to hold herself back.
"Anyways. He gave my number to Donghae. Donghae then gave it to Heechul and now here I am!"
I just stared at everyone. I could not believe this. Heechil wakled over to me.
"Tae could tell that you were starting to become homesick. So we thought we would throw a party and bring Kate here."
Key could not believe what he was hearing. Just yesturday, Donghae was pissing him off.
"This is why you pissed me off Hae?"
"Yep. Kibum, you have a big mouth."
Key just gaped his mouth open in disbelief. He couldn't believe this at all.
