So yeah, we had Jason on Ritalin for over 3 years back in the day. I will write about it some day. I have MUCH to say. It FUCKED my kid up! He is still suffering from it...9 years later. I understand if you use it. I do NOT judge. I get it!!! In many ways it saved me from being an abusive mom, but I do have plenty of regrets and guilt about it.

I want to run out of the house screaming "fuck!" but that would probably wake the kids up. Its hard to grow up living in constant fear of the health effects of civilization's cruder attempts at making itself wealthier, but sometimes you just get used to it.

My poor baby. I fucking hate all the experts- and most of all myself- for doing that to my kid. Seriously Nina, when I tell people where I got my best advice for helping my son, I always tell them other parents- starting with you.

Wow. OKAY. Here's a question, does use of Ritilin and these chromosomal changes continue after the use of the med stops? Some theories about autism say that it's caused by a chromosome. I was on Ritilin about oh, a year before Connor was born. Could that have contributed to his autism?
