I've been meaning to ask you your opinion on this for some time: if one needed to have intermediate French proficiency to graduate from his master's program, yet had not done much with French since his freshman year of college (when he completed said intermediate proficiency the first time), what kind of materials would you suggest for a refresher?

The University of Texas in Austin has a fabulous review website (I wrote them for permission to link to their website, and at the end of her response, the prof wrote, "Hook 'em." I chuckled mightily.
