Christmas!

Nov 30, 2006 21:49

I can't believe it. December is almost here! I've started playing all those classic Christmas carols on my music cube. I just love those songs! I've been blaring the music -- it's a good time to practice my silencing charms, since Par and I are going to have a huge New Year's Eve bash here! I hope that I can perfect the silencing charms before ( Read more... )

Yes!! I can't believe it's coming so soon! I -- I need to get Par to help me set up a tree! Did you know I moved out of the Leaky? Well, it got attacked so I had to, but now I'm living just a stone's throw away from it -- not that I'd throw a stone. That'd be mean. But it's really close and it's with Parvati Patil and we have so much fun!

I want to know about Hex Me Up! I've been there a few times but you were never there.. I didnt really want to ask the lady because she probably would have thought that I fancied you.

You've never taken MY picture. Well, except when you used to snap at ANYTHING that moved back at Hogwarts. That was funny.

Oooh, yeah. I reckon I could do that. Heehee! Silly me!

Yeah, Zinnia could totally read your fortune! If you come I'll make her do it for free. She works at a pretty class place. It smells much nicer than Trelawny's and the poofs are much more comfy. She's always sending me start charts and all that.

YES! Let's get together really soon Colin, totally! We have to. We had so much fun last time. When, where, what?! Soon! Soon!

PS Um, what's Burl Ives?

The Leaky's no place for you - glad you got something new. Wait! I just noticed - you're rooming with Pavati? That's cool. Maybe we can hang out some time together. Before you go.

Hex Me Up...yeah. Maybe I'll write about it in my journal or something. It's pretty funny when I think about it.

I think I still have pictures of everybody at Hogwarts here. Somewhere. I'm not the best at organising things. Is that a hint you want me to snap your portrait? Heh.

Cool about your sister and the fortune reading thing. Free is cool too. We'll need to work out some time, you know?

ARGH! I don't know!?!? When...urm...this weekend? Evening. Where...let's meet at the Leaky and work it out from there. What...same thing as 'where'.

PS. First you don't know Paul McCartney and now you don't know Burl Ives???!???!??!?!?! Man, I can't even fathom that. What did they teach you in Muggle Studies? Nothing? Man. Alright, it looks like I'm going to have to give a crash course in Muggle Studies, taught by Muggle Me, on the finer points of Muggle culture.

Like the Beatles, and the Doors, and Pink Floyd...and so on and so on. Wait, have you ever been to the movies?

Yeah! Parvati. She's great! She's been my best friend since Hogwarts. It's almost like being at Hogwarts, except we make our own rules and don't need to worry about Mr Filch lurking -- well, on the other hand, we've got our grumpy landlord, Mr. Aldis -- he's a jerk! But we have the CUTEST little porch! It's really sweet!

Yes -- you've just got to tell me about Hex Me Up! If they fired you unfairly, than I'll never go back. But if they fired you fairly, well, I'll just tell you that I'm not shopping there, okay?

Hahaha! I want to go through all those pictures of yours. It'd be hilarious to see everyone back in those days! Oh, let me see them, okay, Colin?

Okay! This weekend. But I work at Madam Puddifoot's on Saturday night, so it'd have to be Friday or Sunday, okay?

Uhm, I know who Paul McCartney is. I just haven't heard that song of his. But I don't know who Burl Ives is. Sorry, Colin! And they never teach you about music stuff in Muggle Studies. The book was written by some really old dude who never listened to anything younger than Mozart, I reckon.

Yeah, I've been to the movies loads of times! They're really fun! I used to go all the time with my Mum and sister.

Okay! Weekend! I'm excited, Colin!!!

You have a porch? That's cool. I'm glad to have a closet. I'd love to see the place. Maybe Mr Aldis is the new Mr. Flich?

I don't think I was fired unfairly. I mean...I'll just have to write it up later.

I'm busy Friday - let's make it Sunday. Or else I can go to Madam Puddifoot's and hang with you!

Whew. At least you know about Paul. I can only hope you know the rest of the Fab Four. They didn't teach about music??? What sort of culture is that? Man, I should be teaching Muggle Studies! Everybody would attend my classes - we'd have a blast.

Let's see a movie, then!

Yeah! I love the porch. It's my favorite part of the flat. Heehee, well, I'm glad you have a closet, Colin. How else would you hang your clothes?

Does your firing have to do with you trying on the women's clothes, Colin? I bet that's it!

Sunday is great! You can stop by Puddifoot's if you like, but if it's busy I won't be able to talk too much. Plus, we might seem out of place if we're chatting and not snogging -- have you ever been to Puddifoot's, Colin?

Fab Four -- Beatles, right? Well they talked about music but not enough. More so how muggles play music, but I knew that already. My parents are both muggle born, you know.

I'd attend your class, Colin! It would be fun to see you getting wild and talking a little too loudly. I could take pictures!

Hang? Urm. I kinda have a lot of my things in milk crates stacked all over the place. I don't have a whole lot.

No comment on the clothes trying on.

I walked by Puddifoots ages ago. I've heard what it's like. Is it against policy there not to snog? I figure you'd be busy, so when's your break? When do you get off? We can catch a late movie afterward.

Lavender, Lavender, Lavender.

I'll bring my CD player with me when we go, okay?

Milk crates?! Are you kidding me? Hexes and jinxes! That's crazy! No -- you're kidding me.

Hahha! It's true! Did you snap pictures of yourself in the clothes, huh? I tired on a lovely velvet dress there a month or so ago. The colour would have looked good on you.

I suppose it's not against policy, but everyone will probably think that there's something wrong with me if we're not snogging -- like I have bad breath or something. Oh well, I can deal with that, I suppose. Uhm, my break is when the couples are all too busy goin' at each other that they don't need more tea, and I get off 'round 9 pm tomorrow. Is that not too late?

Okay! Sounds good! So will you stop by Puddifoots? I'll save a comfy chintz chair for you, if you are.

Well, my dad's a milker, so I can get as many crates I need without nicking them from the back of the store.

Continuing with the no comment.

They don't give you a break? Aren't they supposed to give you a break after working so many hours?

Nine? That's a whole lot earlier than I thought! That's nothing. We have plenty of time to see a movie and maybe get a bite to eat. Yeah, save me one of those chintzs and I'll bring a crossword puzzle or something to work on while I wait. Or OH! I just had a brilliant idea! Do you think it would be alright if I brought my camera and offered to take pictures of lovey-dovey couples for a small fee? Do you think I'd be allowed? That would be so cool.

Hm, well, maybe you shouldn't just let them lay all 'round the flat. You could stack them nicely, right? I suppose if I ever need a crate I can just ask you, or just nick it from your house. Maybe you wouldn't notice.

Colin!!!! I've got to know the whole story now! Or, well, Saturday! Yeah. You'll have to tell me. Hexes and jinxes! Bring pictures, if you have them.

Okay! Movie and food. Perfect. Crosswords? So boring! You really like that sort of thing? I think that the idea of taking your camera is much better! Bring it, and I'll check with Madam Puddifoot. It should be alright. It would be cool. I know they'd like it, but, you know, gotta check with the boss. And, yeah, I get time but its never really set, just when the work load is a little less. Some of those snoggers get really thirsty for tea, you see. I suppose it keeps the palate wet and the caffinee helps them keep going.
