Kick off them shoez, ladies and gentlemen, it's gonna be a looong one.

I haven't done the whole "This was my week, this is what happened" thing in a long time but the past week has just been so crazy that I have this need to write it all down or else the weekend will pass by and I will have not yet processed it all at all. Yes I was going for redundancy if it isn't obvious yet.

First off!

Thank you to everyone who greeted me (special mention to Enzo Cabayan who was the first one to greet me on my official birthday because he called at exactly 12. except of course for Ysab and Aussy because I was with them at the time.) It was such a trip to open my email and find 30-something greetings on Facebook and Multiply. I felt loved. Thank you, thank you, kisses and dog piles all around!

...and in the case of our group of friends, it actually is literally a "Birthday Week," because there are four of us who have birthday within a week of each other. Last Monday was Bea's birthday, so we went to Cantina to have a few drinks. The birthday girl left an hour later, while Aussy, JV and I sat for a couple more with a completely random set of people. See, you make new friends everyday!  It was fun especially since we all made up this new game called What Would Your Vagina Say If... The next day, Tuesday, we went to mag:net cos Marb was treating a couple drinks. We left to play Rock Band but ended up playing counter strike instead. I don't know if you remember this but me and my friends used to be freaking obsessed with CS, so after an hour of play time we were all hyper and good vibes. Then we were in Rory's from 6-10:30. Then I went home and watched Mean Girls, because it was such a heavy. emotional day that I needed something light and stuff like that.

And then the next day my laptop crashed.

It's a long story, but the point is, all my files are gone. Thank goodness I burned my files onto DVDs recently to make space for my raw videos but then I lost all my pictures from ((aMp))'s Rites Of Passage, which was also Kuwago's first gig. Sad, sad, sad. :( I worked hard that night to take good pictures and now it was for nothing :(

Then Thursday was my birthday, which I spent most of the day of in the library, working on a report for my Lit class (which DID NOT HAPPEN, btw. But I'm not complaining. My partner and I weren't ready.) It was strange to be working so hard and not minding it on my 20th birthday, though. I'm usually such a brat on my birthday. But I guess I didn't mind because I like this class, and I felt like I would've still had fun anyway.

I spent my 20th birthday party in Mcdonald's Katipunan. All I wanted, really, was to leave my teen years acting like a kid. So that's what I did. And it was really, really good. :) (Which reminds me, I haven't tried my cake yet! I'm gonna go get some cake and coffee. Here, have some pictures while I go get it. :)

Enzo and Dq, during the first game. I think if there were a name for this game it would be Invading Personal Space with Straws and Cups. There was no way to be successful without doing so. Hahaha.

David, why so serious? Hahaha. Looks like I'm not the only competitive person here.

Marco winning the 2nd to the last game for his team.

they are obviously very competitive too! Hahaha

I still have no idea whose pants these were that sina Jaco used for the game The Longest Line. Srsly, whose were they?! Hahahaha.

Because you do these things to yourself, Mike. Hahahaha oh gawd please don't find this. And if you do, please don't kill me. :D

Probably the most wholly wholesome picture the three of us have together...

...which lasted about, oh say... 10 seconds? Hahaha.

My family with Grimace! :D
I AM SO SORRY ATE KRIS, I COULDN'T RESIST.
Everyone knows you're a sexy thang, anyway. :D
Hahahahahahahahahaha. This picture makes me happy. :D

Question... Wasn't the Grimace mascot really, really big before? Like, really tall? Cos this one was small! I mean, he was still cute and everything, but I was all hyped up to see a humongous Grimace and was kinda disappointed with the puny one :(

Okay I'm back! Anyway, after the Mcdonald's hype ended, we headed over to Team Manila's Daily Grind Sessions featuring Spazzkid vs. Eggboy. I really love Spazzkid talaga. I talked to him a couple months back about getting him if ever I were to throw a party-party for my birthday, but I guess I can always do it when I turn 21! (Hopefully, won't be too expensive to hire by then :O)

What can I say, it was the perfect way to end an already perfect day. (HAH, I rhymed once again) It was just good vibes all around, and that's all I would have asked for, really. I don't know how many times I've said it, but I'll say it again, this was definitely the best birthday I've ever had. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it. :)

with Jowee of Team Manila, and my two crazy girls. :)
Thanks for the awesome night, hope cleaning up wasn't too much of a hard time!

KOYA.
Crazy. Crazy, I tell you!

Marb
pulpfacts doing the "shick yur baddy" from my Mcdo party. Hahaha.

HAHAHAHA. I really don't get how this photo got taken. I was smiling the whole night!
Mukha akong na-lugi sa lotto. Hahahaha!

Ysab's tongue is out and that means....
(Enzo, I can see your entire skull from the size of your nostrils.)

Spazzkid!
I actually went right up to the turn table and yelled out "Spazzkid!" and took his picture when he looked. Yay!

A quite intense group, we are. I forgot what we were singing but it seems like we're both pretty into it. Hahaha.

Awww. Hahaha.
Saying our goodbyes at around 2 am. We still had class at ten, after all!

That's it! I've been working on this entry for about 4 hours now (because I got distracted by stalking people on Facebook every now and then) and I think I might head on over to Mon's house because sina Ysab are there shooting something and it would be a shame not to see Ysab seeing as she's in the south already and that never happens (even though I will undoubtedly see her again tomorrow.)

Browser kill ba? Sorry. It's just that this has been quite an awesome week, and I can't believe it's just the beginning.
  • There's still that party that our friends are throwing for us August celebrants. (it's not a surprise, unlike last year, but they keep dangling little secrets in front of us like what kind of things are gonna happen and everything. It's been really touching but horrible at the same time! I can't take surprises, especially when I know there's one to be found out.)
  • And there's also the debut of Mary Moon Productions on August 22. (BE THERE OR BE ETERNALLY BADUY!)
  • ((aMp))arty on the 23rd! I wanna take some pictures of any AMP thing, just because I feel so bad about losing my Rites pictures :((
  • AND who could forget, also there's the reunion gig of The Eraserheads at the end of the month (supposedly), which I HAVE to go to or else my heart will break. It's officially invitation only now, so make sure to log onto marlboro.ph and sign up for their database if you want a chance to be given invites!

OH! and Happy Birthday to the Araneta twins!
Enchong, I miss bitching with you! You're as fun to bitch with as my girlfriends.
Rina, I haven't seen you in so long, and I miss you dearly. I hope you're ecstatically happy wherever you are.

YUN. THAT'S IT NA TALAGA. ACTUALLY MERON PA PERO NEXT TIME NALANG. SEPTEMBER PA NAMAN YUN EH. This is what living without internet is doing to me. I am gonna go back into the real world now. I hope you all have a prosperous and wonderful week! :D
