To write or not to write....
For three days, I have had my Live Journal open, trying to type something. There's so much to write, but I just draw a blank. Nothing overly good or bad. I was really sick for a week, and am still trying to get over it, two weeks later. I feel it's almost gone.
Yesterday we had a staff meeting. I was giving an evaluation and it was like talking to a wall for over a hour. *sigh* The owners were not impressed, and it wasn't with me.
My birthday is at the end of the month. I haven't had a party since I was 12, and a good party since I was 8. So, this year, Pernell is throwing me a party. Yay! I am going to bake Prime Ribs, baked potatoes, cornbread, and then something else. Still haven't decided. I've asked my mom to make the cake. She is thinking about it LOL!! So basically, it's going to be a game night.. another opportunity for friends to get together to play games and have a fun time. We're starting early, around 3 or 3:30. It's funny, because as we get older, and more kids are in the picture (us and our friends), the earlier the parties start.
Pernell has finals next week. I'm excited about that! One semester down.. many, many, many more to go. He has two weeks off, and then starts back up on April 2nd. It will be nice to see him more.
My new hours are till 7, M - Th. Fridays I there till 5:30. This will be nice. It allows Pernell to FINALLY quit Pizza Hut. It will be the first time in 11 years he hasn't worked for some sort of Pizza Establishment. This is a big step! Yay!!
I'm reading, 'The Five People You Meet In Heaven'. So far so good. I stayed up entirely too late reading. I've been trying to get in bed by midnight or so. Even at that, my sleep is restless. It's been like that for a while. Maybe time to talk to a doctor. Oh what would I give for a good nights rest!
Tonight is Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty. Yay! It calls for.. PIZZA!!! :-)
