Broadway in Town

So, today was freakin awesome.

I signed up to see a lecture on acting and broadway, and I kind of wrote it off during the week and didn't think much of it. But I went to the lecture today, broadway producer Peter Sklar came to speak. Well, it was an incredible lecture with some very good tips that'll help you succeed in just about any field. And afterwards he invited anyone who wanted to, to stay for an interview to go to an acting camp in NYC over the summer (about 10 days) with broadway actors and choregraphers, etc, teaching all the classes. Well about 6 people stayed and were interviewed, 3 were hand picked (me, and two other talented girls) for the interview.

Only 4 of us were picked. You must understand you have to be invited to go to this camp, and me, the two girls, and one young boy were picked to go. It's going to cost around $1500. At first, I despaired over this, because I definitely want to go. And mom seemed a little pulled back by this. So, she decided to ask my grandmother to pay for it. And if all goes well, I'll be going to this acting camp and possibly another in New Mexico if they actually do it. But I mean...HOLY CRAP. I'll get 10 days to spend with people on BROADWAY, and do my schooling in NEW YORK CITY.

I'm so going to pee my pants if my grandmother pays for this <33

:D Wheeee doors are opening.
