so it's June 1st...
*and here I am with a mini update:
*Memorial Day weekend was a combo of work and some fun.
*Work hasn't been too too shabby...Kindergartners and 1st graders are still making my day with the great stuff they say. The 4th graders were fun to work with the past few days. They were working on estimating the weight of objects and then actually measuring them on a scale. They really got into it, which was cool to see because it's not an everyday occurrence.
*I've been procrastinating my homework all week...We don't have class until the 12th, so I've been slacking on what I need to get done for that day (as you can see I'm typing an entry instead of working on the homework).
*I've been sending in my resume for special ed. jobs....Woodhaven-Brownstown once again informed me that they are only hiring certified individuals....I'm so so close though and it's frustrating. At the beginning of the school year, I would only have 1 semester left before I graduate and they are practicum related, not content related.
*Pistons have themselves a game tomorrow....hopefully they'll be winning themselves a game 7.
*The Tigers just came back to beat the Yankees 7-6 in the ninth!
*Relationships regardless of what kind they are, always have their ups and downs...When you hit so many downs that it doesn't seem possible to ever get back up, the heart can and will inevitably break.
