Phenomenology, baby!
So I am sitting here in the beautiful warm December sunshine of southern california getting a preview of my boyfriends upcoming art show piece. It three four-foot-tall posters of photos he took of Arnold Schwarzenegger with his eyes closed unflatteringly at a press conference during the wildfires. Its really funny.
I have unofficially been admitted to California Institute of the Arts for the sprng semester which starts this January. I also have a new job for the project I am doing. Unfortunately this job (Macys gift wrapper (first paycheck 89.16)) is practically driving me insane because of the christmas music they play. The photo of me you see hear was recently in an art show about friendster.
I am skipping christmas this year. I told my mom a few months ago so it wouldn't freak her out too bad but it did anyway which I have officially categorized as her problem. I just needed the year off, you know?
I have all but entirely stopped smoking marijuana. Its been like five months or something with one or two parties as the only exceptions. I have not, however, concluded whether this is a good thing or a bad thing...I do miss the recreational aspects of it but not the mind numbing ones. Also, Ironically, I seem to have LESS money now that I don't spend any of it on such frivloities. C'est la vie.
