For the past few days, my colleagues and I have been attempting to encapsulate and quantify the characteristics of decent fourth grade writing into one neat 4x5 grid that fits on one sheet of paper. I think my hamster is also dead. I would like a new one. Perhaps if I ask the light when it's done interacting with the objects it likes, it might give me new hamster? Or am I denied because I am a scientist and therefore evil?

I have a new co-worker whose title is Scientist. I told him about the Ghostbusters quote "Back off man, I'm a scientist." He got very happy and wrote that on his whiteboard in extremely large letters.

He grew up in China, and has never seen Ghostbusters. Actually, I saw it many times as a kid, and I didn't remember that line the first time I heard jetspeaks use it.

Thank you for your concern for scientific hamsters. Too few people understand the tragedy of a lost hamster. Perhaps we should hold an Awareness Day, or a telethon.
