So why did I do it?
As you can see, I had my head shaved on New Year's Eve:
Basically, as I have aged, my hair has been getting more and more difficult to take care of. It doesn't stay even anymore and I was getting dissatisfied with the look. So, for the last year or so, I had been talking to Melissa about shortening my hair to something VERY short and "starting over".
Still, it was nothing but talk until a recent gaming session. At that point, we started talking about weird hairstyles that people were paid to get when we were working at the Board of Trade (mohawks, getting initials carved into the side of the head, etc.). Somehow, from there we got to talking about how much it would take to shave me bald.
All right, I had been talking about making the hair shorter. We may as well go all the way! Jeff paid me cash and I shaved my head on New Year's Eve. I actually like the look!
Now I'll let it grow out a bit, see how the hair behaves and choose a new style. Let me know what you think!
