the long and winding............day

I swear someone managed to slow time to an all time crawl and this day was proof. It has been about the longest day I can ever remember and that includes the day I spent 20 and 1/2 hours in labor to bring my son into this world and then 4 more hours on the table for reconstructive surgery after he tore his way to daylight.

I am thinking of an early bedtime in hopes that somehow the side of the bed I got up on this morning will have changed back to the side I am more used to getting up on. Hope springs eternal.
