so i gotta problem
my dad is moving out of my old apartment and moving in here... yesterday he showed up here before he went to work and told me that ex-landlady has already decided (before he is moved out and the house is cleaned) that we dont get our deposit (she went into his apartment when he was not home).
then he went to work... and she calls me! just before i go to work. she tells me that my father's electricity got shut off (as though this was any of her buisness!) and that he needs to move out asap, because this is "rediculous" (he also happens to owe her back-rent that he is paying back every week with almost his entire check). she tells me that she is losing money because she cant show the place while he is living there... i want to kno where i can find info on wether or not that is legal, because she will not be keeping my deposit if she has no legal grounds to.
