cold enough for ya?
it was 44 degrees when i went out to the gym this morning. this weekend kinda felt like summer, but this morning pretty much killed that. the only bad thing is that i don't think i let my car warm up enough before i got on the highway to go to campus. about 5 minutes into my commute, the "service engine soon" light came on. very problematic...
you know those white oval stickers with letters on them? they started out with abbreviations for european countries, but then others like the outer banks (those stupid "obx" stickers) started showing up. on the way to campus i saw a car with two of them that said "c++" and "www". i was thinking "what kind of dork would put that on their car?" then i saw the license plate: M3G4L33T. what a dork...
went to the state fair finally. the texas state fair is about twice the size of the one here, but the one here is about twice as much fun as the one in dallas. and i didn't even get to eat all the food i wanted. everything was cool until the dude at one of those midway games thought rachel was my wife...
bad weekend for the hokies, and they didn't even play. usc almost lost a game, but they did lose votes to texas. texas won big, and texas's best opponent (ohio state) won a game they should've lost. oh, and tech's best opponent (florida state) lost a game it had no business losing. looks like we'll be this year's auburn, which really isn't so bad, i guess...
