*sets down Hamfast as gently as possible and begins tending to his wounds*

-She follows mechanically, leading the pony and letting two exhausted young hobbitchildren ride in her stead. Her head is turned as her eyes are glued to Three and Trotter, and when the inevitable happens, she closes her eyes for a moment and looks away.

When they finally stop, she lifts the children from the pony and sets them down, then kneels next to Hecubus, face ashen when she sees Hamfast's injuries.-

Is he- will he be... alright? -The question is asked tentatively, as though she almost expects the answer already.-

I don't know.

He may live, but my healing skills are not great...

He will need help to survive.

If only Elly could be here... -The words are barely audible. She wishes there was something she could do, but she knows absolutely nothing about healing. In the meantime, she notices that some of the children have started to wander, so she stands slowly and goes to stop them.-
