Well, I'm sure that's what LSU is thinking right about now. Miss. State, after having lost seven of their last eight series, was awarded a spot in the NCAA tournament. They didn't even make the SEC Tournament. Meanwhile, LSU, who has been in every tournament since 1988 (ironically, Mike Bianco's first year there), was snubbed despite making the SEC Tournament and defeating No. 1 seed Alabama in the opener.
Oh, can you guess who the chairman of NCAA selection committee is? If you guessed Larry Templeton, AD at State, you would be correct? And I guarantee that's why they're in the tourney. We don't need to cheat to win.
It was a stupid move though. Because the bulldogs are in the Clemson regioanl. They will probably get stomped before they even have to play Clemson.
