I'm back. Did you miss me?
I'm not really sure why I chose now to finally update after so long. This semester as been by far the most miserable one that I've had thus far, for multiple reasons. And I'm probably not alone on that statement.
I'm not going to rehash much right now because it's not time to do so. But I do need to say something:
Thank you. Over the last few months a lot has happened and I've never taken the opportunity to thank the people who've prayed for my family and for me. The outpouring of care that my family has been shown has been tremendous and we appreciate every last drop of it. This sounds incredibly cheesy, trust me, I know. But it needed to be said. So thanks...
I haven't been around much this semester, mostly due to the job that allows me to live in an apartment. Go figure. However, I hope to change that somewhat next semester as things tend to slow down, with a lack of football and all. Of course, by the look of this season, we would have been better off with a lack of football...and some more groving. Am I right?
For those of you who actually missed my random memories (my one or two fans out there), they shall return. I'm not sure when I'll have an internet connection over the break, but when I do, I'll try to update because it's fun. I miss writing pointless anecdotes about my life so that I can waste your time by forcing your curiosity to let your eyes do the reading.
Not too many people are left in town. I like when people ask me why I'm still here and I just reply with a heartful laugh "Where am I gonna go?" If I didn't laugh, I'd probably cry. So I think I'll laugh. You burn more calories that way.
In reality, I'll be going "home" for Christmas soon enough. I think I'll take my time. Slow down. Enjoy life for a minute. Yeah. That's better.
I leave you now, with a quote I heard yesterday. It's a good one. You may know the guy too.
"Life is the craziest thing I've ever done."
-David Wathen (the one, the only...)
I rest my case.
