Yes, I discovered last night that the antepenultimate volume of the long-running Wheel of Time series will be released next month. The Gathering Storm is the first of three books written by Brian Sanderson to finish out Robert Jordan's magnum opus, which as of next year will be twenty years old. Very nearly old enough to drink.

I am so glad when I picked up the first volume of Wheel of Time you warned me that is was an unfinished series. Caught previously by the Dark Tower, Mallorean and currently by Ice and Fire I will pick it up volume one again when the last volume is out though.

I've seen Butler's re-read and it's amazing. I don't think I'll be putting quite that much work into it, but it's a good resource....
