A moot point....
Remember all that teeth-gnashing about getting a credit card? Yeah, well, never mind. My application was rejected. I have no idea why it was rejected - the letter says, "Our credit decisions are based on a number of factors and are made by an automated credit scoring system." I called their customer helpline and got pretty much the same answer

I had just bought my house when I applied for some store credit card so I could get the $36 for $18 (intro discounts) and the guy kept warning me "iif, if you get approved." I looked at him and said "i just bought a house. you can have it if I don't pay for the jeans."
Didn't exactly *mean* to slam him and shut him the fuck up but he was getting just a tad annoying.
