Awwww, man....
I came this ->| |<- close to having a photo in the New York Times. A writer contacted me about using one of my photos of Fushimi Inari Shrine in an article she was doing about the possible origin of fortune cookies - there's a shop near the shrine that makes them, though they're somewhat different from the American version. I got home and found the article.... only to discover that my photo isn't there. I guess either she or her editor decided it wasn't relevant enough....
