So this is that "working" of which they speak....
Thus ends my first week back at work. Gotta admit, it's a lot different from sitting at my desk, reading old Legion of Super-Heroes comics on my computer and thinking, "I really should get out of the house."
We did a lot of prep work to get the branch open - which means cleaning. There was also some training as well, especially for the younger folks. We weren't slated to start teaching lessons until Monday, but there was such a rush of old students coming back to sign up that we started doing classes from yesterday. Not a whole lot, mind you - I only did three lessons today, but I figure by Monday, or the week after that we might be running at a respectable pace.
And it was good to see some familiar faces from the old branch again, teachers, staff and students.
Now I have a weekend and I'm kinda tired. I hope The Boyfriend doesn't have anything too exciting in mind....
