Never fear, he did say, however, that he plans to beat the odds of his disease and prove his doctors wrong, and have a career for at least the next 30 years! In an update, he detailed how his illness, which was steadily worsening, took a miraculous and dramatic turn for the better just before Christmas, so kudos to that.

Wishful thinking indeed. Sounds like he's got the right attitude to handle this kind of illness, too. That kind of optimism can make or break a man....
Still, I'm hoping that the end of the series is in sight. I'm starting to get impatient. *grin*
