Almost Hurricane Chris (rather large image), thanks to thirdbase. NOAA is prediciting that it'll hit hurricane status by Friday.
It's odd - I feel weirdly excited having a namesake storm, and I find myself hoping it can enter the historical ranks with storms like Andrew, Ivan and Katrina, despite the inevitable devestation.
I think this makes me a very bad person in some oblique way....
