Has anyone looked at the moon lately?
Seriously, I was walking home tonight - around 9:20 PM - and I looked up at the full moon. Except it didn't look full. It looked like the bottom of it had been slightly flattened, or was otherwise obscured by shadow. Not drastically, but enough for me to think, "Is there an eclipse tonight or something?"
I'm probably insane and this is the first step in my inevitable mental breakdown. It's about time....
UPDATE 1 - I went out to look again, and the effect seems to have gone. I can't imagine what the folks walking their dogs must have thought of this crazy gaijin staring up at the moon.....

HAH! I'm *not* insane. Yet.....
Though it may be edging on back-slapping, I'm rather proud of the fact that I'm the kind of person who would glance up at the moon and think, "That doesn't look right...."
