Burn Notice Squee

Holy shit, holy shit, HOLY SHIT!!!!  "Fiona's not part of my past" - BANG, BANG!  Well, I guess that answers that question.  I could have told you Strickler was bad, Michael.  He was the shitty  boyfriend on Angels in America.

The Irish accent was about 1000x hotter than the South African accent way back in season two.  Lots of guns.  Fiona had some hotass jeans on.   Michael downed a shot.  Poor Miss Reynolds car!  When will Sam learn not to bring his lady friend's cars around Michael??  It will only end badly!  Maddie helping save Fi's brother!  Fi backstory!

Really, I'm still totally incoherent.  After he shot Strickler, it was pretty much just "HOLY SHIT" over and over in my head.  GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

eta - OK, I'm in my re-watch.  Fiona's brother was good.  He kind of resembles Gabrielle Anwar, so good casting, Burn Notice!  And I loved the scene with Maddie and Michael in the garage where she brings the box of model airplanes.  Her little speech about how normal people have boxes of this stuff, and her assurance that if he doesn't want it she'll just throw it away and his quick, "I'll take a look!" are just so Awwwwwww!!!   As is his expression when he picks up the little toy pistol from the box.  Hee!

eta 2 - re-watch complete.  The VO at the end where he talks about how for a spy, the worst thing is not to know anything and the enemy you don't see is the one who gets you is a good summation of Strickler.  He was so blinded (greyhound Michael) by the idea of getting back in, he didn't want to ask any questions.  That's part of why he was so pissed at Fi, because she did.  And he knew that he should be asking the questions, but he didn't want to.  He has every right to be pissed at himself because he's smarter than that.  Strickler was also the enemy that he didn't see, mostly because he didn't want to.  Strickler seemed to have big plans for him, much like Management.  There's always a price, isn't there?  Michael, Michael, Michael. . .

Oh, and I'm totally with phetch  in that this show has warped me because when he killed Strickler is even HOTTER on the second watch!  My, my, MY!  His tone is just deadly cold.  I love it how he's more dangerous when he's quiet.
