Dear flist: This father's day brought me gifts from my dad.

He came over on saturday and sunday, and I must say I was very, very glad to see him - almost two months since I last did! We had a great time - we went to see Indiana Jones again (no one told him we had already seen it XD), had some dinner, watched the Bucket's List the next day...

And he bought me my precious. 8D I am now the proud owner of a Special Edition HP with swirly stuff on it. ♥ 4GB of memory, 250 GB in the harddrive, dual layer dvd and cd burner, webcam and microphone. Pretty pretty. And he also got me a Sony Walkman of 4 GB - it's the prettiest, smallest and cutest mp3 player I've seen.

So the ipod gay went to the posSession of my little brother, who adores it because it can play videos. He's already filled it with John Lennon all the way, which I'm not complaining about.

The only problem is that I can't install Photoshop and Illustrator CS2. The vendor say we wouldn't be able to because of it being 64 bits instead of 32 (You can imagine my WTF face at that - I ran and called Gustavo, who knows about that stuff - it's good to have a computer brother). Gustavo said it didn't matter, that it was a good deal - only we can't. We'll install Windows XP to see if that solves the problem. It's useless for me otherwise.

All in all, it was lovely to see my dad. I had a great time with him, which I hadn't had in quite a while - whenever I saw him I would be mad at him for being with someone else and it seems like I'm over it. I really really love him, and I don't like being mad at him - despite of what he does.

Oh, and I just signed up for volunteering at the Comic-Con this year. Yep yep.
