"Okay, so he's really, really tiny. I don't want anyone to be shocked," she said as they made their way into the room.

Lorelai looked up and grinned. "Hey, guys! Come in and make yourselves comfortable. There's a pot of coffee in the kitchen."

Marty came in struggling with an oversize gift basket filled with baby clothes and coffee themed gifts. "Where would you like this?"

"You guys didn't have to bring anything," Lorelai chided. "But you can put it over there," she pointed.

"It's good to see you both. Rory said you were on vacation. Where'd you go and how was it?"

"We did a grand tour of Tahiti, LA, Three Rivers and Paris," Marty said putting the gift basket down. "It was the most relaxing seven weeks I've ever had but I'm glad to be back. So is this the little guy?"

Angela took a few long strides over to the bassinet. "He's asleep!," she squeal-whispered. "And so perfect."

Lorelai grinned. "He'll probably be waking up soon," she promised. "He never seems to sleep for very long."

Marty seemed to be watching little Bucky with very large eyes. "I bet they're kind of fragile at this age."

"No one's dropped him, though I keep thinking I will. I bet he'd like for you to hold him, guys," Rory said encouragingly.

Very very *very* carefully, Angela reached down and picked Bucky up. Her hold was awkward, but she made sure to support his head and neck. "Hi Bucky," she crooned. "Welcome to the world, little guy. Hope you aren't bored yet."

The baby opened his eyes wide and stuck a few fingers in his mouth. "Look, he's awake!"

"You can sit in the rocking chair, if you want," Lorelai offered. "He likes that. He'll probably be ready for a bottle soon. I'll go get it ready."

Marty seems to be following Bucky wherever he goes and staring at him with big eyes.

"He likes to grip things," Rory offered. "Like fingers and stuff. He had a pretty firm hold on Anakin's braid when I introduced them, and then he had a death grip on my finger after that."

Angela backed into the rocker, then offered the baby her fingers.

He grabbed them and squeezed. "He's really strong for how little he is," she said, a goofy grin on her face. "How much does he weigh, anyhow?"

"He's so tiny," Marty whispered.
