The Gilmore-Danes House on the mainland
Lorelai woke up and sat down to enjoy her one cup of real coffee for the day.
She heard a strange beeping sound and realized that she had left her cell phone in her purse overnight. She grabbed it and listened to her messages.
"Luke!" she called, not sure where in the house her husband was, but grateful he wasn't opening the diner today.
She didn't wait for his response though, immediately dialing Rory's number and praying fervently that she would answer.
