Since Luke was busy at the diner, Lorelai had brought Bucky to campus with her while she hung out in her office in case any parent or guardian type people decided they wanted to visit her

Following Briar's schedule, Lark came to Lorelai's office. She tapped on the door, rather wanting to meet these teachers that she'd given Briar to.

"Come on in," Lorelai called. Her hands were full feeding Bucky his bottle.

Lark entered almost radiating a calm presense. "What a lovely baby," she said with a smile. "What's his name?"

"Bucky," Lorelai said. "And I'm Lorelai. Have a seat," she nodded in the direction of some chairs. "Who do you belong to?"

"I'm Lark," she replied, sitting down. "I'm Briar Moss' teacher. Or I was before he came here." She added, smiling. "Bucky? How old is he?"

"Almost four months old," Lorelai said. "He's getting big fast."

She glanced at a sheet of paper on her desk. "Briar's a good kid. He shows up, does the work and doesn't cause any trouble."

Lark raised an eyebrow then grinned. "Really? Are we talking about the same boy?"

Lorelai double checked her sheet and nodded. "Yep, he hasn't missed a class."

"I'm glad to hear that then," Lark said, still amused. "He's usually a bit more...mischievious." She nodded. "Thank you very much. He said he was enjoying your class."

"I'm glad," Lorelai smiled. "I love what I teach and I think it's important for the students who aren't from around here to get a good grasp on our culture."
