Following Briar's schedule, Lark came to Lorelai's office. She tapped on the door, rather wanting to meet these teachers that she'd given Briar to.

"Bucky," Lorelai said. "And I'm Lorelai. Have a seat," she nodded in the direction of some chairs. "Who do you belong to?"

"I'm Lark," she replied, sitting down. "I'm Briar Moss' teacher. Or I was before he came here." She added, smiling. "Bucky? How old is he?"

"Almost four months old," Lorelai said. "He's getting big fast."

She glanced at a sheet of paper on her desk. "Briar's a good kid. He shows up, does the work and doesn't cause any trouble."
