After all, 200 people had died so that Dominic Purcell’s character could crack open a beer on the Panamanian beach.And it could have been a valid reason if Lincoln had been guilty or even wrongly accused without any malice. But even if it wasn't Michael first motivation - or his motivation at all - Lincoln was framed and was another victim of a conspiracy running in the highest levels of power. If I remember correctly, Michael does have Lincoln swear to him that he's innocent before starting anything, investigates and finds out things are quite murky. Writers stoppped making it about Lincoln alone as soon as they introduced said conspiracy, and even more so in the last seasons - seasons that probably are the deadliest in term of bodies count - when it became all about taking down the Company for greater good ( ... )

Oh, stir away, my dear!

You can't use this kind of trick/reason/whatever to have the viewers relate to the characters (and make your show last of couple of more seasons) and then say "he totally had it coming." I'm not saying that Michael is not to blame at all, just... perspective, guys.

Yes. It had become about The Redemption of Tbag at the expense of several other storylines, and I became a major eye-roller as well.
