Wentworth talks about how much he adores admires Sarah Wayne Callies. Dear Lord, I wanted a kick in the pants to write some more "In Plain Sight", and he just hands it to me a shiny platter.

Firstly, he's applauding when they come back to the interview after showing a M/S fanvid on the big screen, which is always going to make me wibble with glee. I've transcribed the relevant bit, and have put it under a cut, even though it's hardly spoilery.
Interviewer: What I don't understand is why they wrote Sara off for the first time. I mean, why?
WM: Ah, what I will say is that, um, Sarah Wayne Callies, uh, is a class act, a phenomenal actress, and, um, when she was gone, ah, I think, I think certain people realised that they'd made a mistake. That suddenly the show was missing a very crucial element, uh, which was that there might be some kind of happy ending for these characters.
Interviewer: Ooooh.
WM: I think Sara represented, very specifically for my character, a silver lining. Without her, there was suddenly a very dark, dark universe. So, her coming back was absolutely essential, the cast missed her, the crew missed her, and the fans missed her, and that's why she returned, because of the fans.
Interviewer: Wow. So you guys end up together at the end, right? I hope so.
WM: I wish I could tell you.
Cue much laughter.
Oh, yeah. The way he talks about her just makes my heart smile. No matter what happens in canon, I shall always have RPF. *adjusts tin hat lovingly*
P.S. Link to vid borrowed from the lovely ladies at EXcommunicated with many thanks.
