Sorry, scratch that. I FREAKING LOVED IT.
Michael and Sara are just too good together. I can no longer come up with the words to describe how much I love watching them interact. Him protesting the hospital visit. Her insisting. Him giving in in the face of his brother and his good doctor presenting a united front. Her telling him exactly what's going to happen. The way she hugged him and kissed his shoulderblade (one of my GIANT FIC KINKS) and told him they had to go. Him giving her the mysterious envelope and telling her that he can't do it, he can't let the others go to their possible death without him. Her giving in, even though she's clearly furious and worried. Oh, their scene in the back of the SUV, where she gives him that shot and she's SO angry and worried but she does it anyway, and then she refuses to say goodbye as if he's in danger because she isn't prepared to accept that possibility but instead tells him she is taking him to the hospital WHEN this is done.

Everything else was fab too.
Linc and Sara talking about Michael. Sucre and Mahone talking - how good was that? I don't remember seeing that before now. Mahone trying to keep everybody positive, trying to reassure Michael, trying to help Sara. Lincoln and Michael being tense and terse as only brothers can be. Sucre praying for Michael. Gretchen in her little outfit. T-Bag taking photographs of Gretchen in her little outfit. Michael refusing to let another member of the team die. Don and Trishanne in very deep shit.
Michael planning with his giant brain will never not be hot.
Ditto Sara being a doctor and doctoring HIM, especially when she's angry.
Padman is the father of Gretchens's daughter. Eieieiieiieeeeeeeee!!
I have to go watch it again now and then write some more IPS before my painkillers wear off. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

P.P.S I should say that there ARE things that niggle at me. The total lack of any mention of Wyatt's death and the fact that LJ is still invisible, for instance. But I'm telling myself that these things are going to be fixed, because I just love the rest of it so much that I'm not going to harsh my own squee, so to speak. *g*
