It's late, so bear with me, but you know I love the inclusion of the NA meeting and the baby talk. I love that these people went all the way around the world, and then found they could address things that may have seemed too frightening or just too complicated on their own turf, in their own home.
I love the blanket in the park, too. ;)
I'm so glad you got back into this, and I'm very much looking forward to what comes next.

Funny, isn't it? I mean, in this universe they've made a home in Panama, but I wonder if that's still too close to everything they went through, if that makes sense?
I'm pleased you liked the blanket. The things that come to you while you're researching! *g*

This was great! I laughed at Michael being dragged away from the vendors like a puppy, hehe. You even made my stomach make noise at the descriptions. Yummers.
He watches with interest as another strangled cry of “How’s that?” goes up from the nearby cricket pitch.
LOL!
She’s always loved this country, but seeing it fresh through his eyes is something quite different.
Yes! I bet that's the best part because it's a part of her that she's sharing, as well as the NA. So this is a trip that really opens her up to Michael, knocking down the last walls if you will. (Am I looking to far into this?)
I like that way you have incorporated their tale into the setting, it doesn't feel like you've plonked Safe House into India, if you get me. We know that by the end, India will be imbedded in their story and you have done a great start to put the M/S together with it.

No, you're not looking too far. *grins*

Eee, thank you! That's very reassuring, believe me.

I loved their first little tour of India with its busy streets and roadside vendors. I like that Sara's time there in the past is kinda coming back to haunt her and that she didn't hide it from Michael and instead invited him to the NA meeting. I can't wait to read how the rest of the trip goes... and I once again apologize for my rambliness. Wee.

Thank you. I thought that it was very important to mention that her addiction hadn't been cured simply by living in a beach house and having lots of great sex. It's always going be a part of her, so going to group meetings is always going to be a part of her life.

Uh, you've render me speechless.
INDIA! FULL CIRCLE! *grins madly*
It's after 3 am here, but when I saw you had updated, I couldn't bring myself to read it only tomorrow. It had to be now.
I had my first indian food experience last week, and wow, it's so wonderful.
What I loved the most about this chapter is how you incorporated Michael to Sara's NA meeting. I love that she can rely on him, and that he's there for her when she feels week. I loved their bantering, I loved the flirtation, I loved the reminder of their first love making.
I'm going to bed happy!

I love Indian food too, so it's no hardship to have to think about it for this story. *g*
