Just a quick thought: SCALE (aka Southern California Linux Expo) is Swag-a-palooza this year. I've been getting lots and lots of goodies at a clip that resembles Dot Com Boom-era trade shows. It's unbelievable. The economy is in the crapper something fierce, and yet we have snack tables groaning with food, toys, T-Shirts and other goodies right there for the taking. It's like the good old days.
Hopefully today I'll be able to lean on enough "best brains" to see if I can get Richie's lappie recording sound. If not, I have tons of alternate distros to play with in hopes of figuring it out for myself.
Oh yeah: Thanks to the angels who have visited my tip jar so far. I'm on my way to the upgrade I want.
