More car woes...
We were at Big Lots. We just went there to get a little mini tire compressor. We got a world of trouble from the ignition switch of our car. The switch wouldn't let the key go. No way, no how. It could turn to "accessory" but not all the way to click-vroom. It's at our friendly neighborhood Firestone now. Thankfully they are open Sundays. So far nobody says it's not the ignition switch, which is a fairly straightforward repair.
If that little mini tire compressor thingy did something to the car, however, than freaking Big Lots is going to pay. Big time. Because, as the stupid GM Auto Repair commercial says, "It's not just your car. It's your freedom."
Fuck if they aren't right, especially here in LA.
UPDATE: It's the ignition switch. It will be done by close of business today, at least. A little pricier than we thought it would be, though. But Big Lots is off the hook.
