1. What did you sew on your summer vacation?
Finished the Jedi robes.
2. What is your favorite of the thing(s) you made?
See above.
3. What did you plan to sew on your summer vacation, but didn’t get around to sewing?
Fuu-chan yukata set. (Samurai Champloo). Will do that, but probably not in time for Anime Los Angeles.
4. Learn anything new?
When you buy a sewing machine, you need to check to see if the bobbin assembly is bolted in right.
5. Any sewing-related injuries?
Only psychological in nature.
6. Did you hurl any half-completed projects to the floor, unlamented? Lamented?
Luckily I have not.
7. See any good costume flix? How about bad ones?
Haven't really seen many movies lately and Snakes on a Plane (the last one and the only one of the Summer) really sucked wrt costuming.
8. Got anything in the sewing queue to finish before the end of the year?
Undertunic for the Jedi robes
Warm fluffy version of the Jedi overrobe, in Chocolate anti-pill fleece.
Generic Chinese Kung Fu girl. (Think any martial arts fighting game since Street Fighter and you know what I'm talking about)
9. Buy any new fabric that, despite your best intentions, has joined its brethren in the stash?
Oh hells yeah. Woodbury "Common Threads" is a bad influence on me with their fabric sale.
10. Purchase anything really extravagant?
Not really. All the fabric I got was on sale for ridiculous prices. Except for the anti-pill fleece which was a Jo-Ann's purchase. Mmmm...cozy. I suppose that qualifies for extravagance.
