Finally sanity arrives in Justice Dept: no more raids on Medical Cannabis Dispensaries!
Thank Goddess. It's too late, of course, for Richie...we'd always have the paranoia in the back of our minds that maybe one day he'd go to get his Green Meds and he'd get hauled away in handcuffs. As long as Eric Holder is Attorney General, it looks like enforcing federal laws against pot by busting dispensaries is his last, last, LAST priority.
Cannabis really *is* the best medicine for nausea that exists. It's also the *only* med for increasing appetite in those suffering from cancer-related cachexia. (loss of appetite) And Richie found out it's a damn good, non constipating, non habit-forming substitute for the milder end of the opiate painkiller spectrum, at least for him.
If I believed in an afterlife, I'd say somewhere Richie was smiling. But I don't, so I won't. :P
