If anyone asks what I want for my birthday...
...here's the list.
1.) I'm going to build a new set of lightsabres, this time ones that light up. The process of building them has already been begun by a midwestern Jedi who does surprisingly great work, and the whole enchilada is going to cost $125 including shipping. I have about half of that set aside. I will be rolling tape again to do a how-to video. Basically they will be sent to me built, but not decorated. I will do the decoration.
2.) Since we are on the subject of video, I need a nice big phat FireWire hard drive for video editing. No, USB will not do. Although I can use USB for other things, like Time Machine backups. Right now my biggest external drive that I have at my beck and call is 186 GiB, and it is showing only 43 GiB free. I lust after a FireWire RAID but doubt that anyone can afford to hook me up. However, a 500 GB to 1 TB drive would be awesome.
3.) Regime change, defeat of Proposition 4 and Proposition 8, and passage of Proposition 1A and Measure R. And World Peace too. And OMG Ponies. :P
