Happy Fourth of July, people!

Normally our block has a nice big block party for the Fourth, with food and drink and goofing and whatnot. I think today it's going to be pretty subdued, with the heat being so brutal. But I still made a coconutty dessert, and there's beer and ice, and if we all just hunker down in the a/c, so be it. It's still a festival...just a really sweaty one.

Also, I bought squirt-guns. I plan to get in a few shots, just on principle:)
