Adventureland

Justin and I went to see Adventureland last night, and it was SO INCREDIBLY GOOD! I'd highly recommend it to everyone. It just felt totally authentic - there were no moments where I groaned and rolled my eyes, which is unusual for me - even in movies that I like. And I laughed out loud. A lot. And totally identified with the characters, and liked almost all of them - they did a really good job of not turning anyone into the "bad guy." All of the characters had flaws, just like real people, but they also all had their good points, too. You could understand why they acted the way they did, and sympathize with them, even while you wished they'd done things differently.

Also Jesse Eisenberg looks a lot like the first guy I really kissed. And I was really impressed with Kristen Stewart. Even though she kind of plays the same character she played in Twilight - a kind of screwed up, smart, beautiful teenager - she plays that character really well. Plus she's very pretty with a minimal amount of makeup, and I really like that she's had an understated, real-person-beautiful style in both of the movies I've seen her in.
