Ah Yes - April. The month of Big Weather and Redbuds. Hang on to your hats kiddies...
So yeah...not having internetz completely sucks. And NOT in a good way.

I'm being HORRIBLY productive at work, though. (Word choice totally intentional.)

And thanks to our ladylove, who is so graciously allowing me quality time with Lwaxana so I don't get shakes and DTs from internet withdrawl...
Meanwhile...today marks 10 years since the tornado that ripped through the area I grew up, cutting a swath through the neighborhood less than a mile from my home, blowing glass out of the high school...taking out HUGE areas of trees (the neighborhood was an old one, with a lot of old forest still standing)...totally redid the landscape of my childhood in one fell swoop. It still hurts my heart to remember...

AND - tomorrow marks 25 years since my due date.
Yeah, I remember stuff like that. The fact that Meredith wasn't born until May 1 - just started a trend really. Though I'm fully convinced in HER case my body was trying to avoid giving her up until the very last second. Still.
No redbuds blooming 'round town yet, at least not that I've seen. Oddly enough, though, I haven't been looking. Guess having contact with her has helped that whole bittersweet thing a bit.
Though it's still bittersweet. We're going to be in Cleveland on her birthday, and since we'll be driving near (and whenever we go north, I think about her as we pass certain exits), I'd thought maybe...
But she's not ready (and may never be ready), and that's okay.
I have more than I'd ever expected to have.
We talk.
It's enough.
That said, I'm going to focus on spending time with 'Yote (who's feeling much much improved physically - yay!) and my ladylove (who just...um...well it wasn't the first sex, and it wasn't even the first girl-sex, but she and I just christened her big comfy bed for *us* anyway, which makes me feel all kinds of happy and loved and wanted and stuff...which I rather needed), and hopefully my OTHER kids this weekend if we can pull it off (since we're NOT traveling).
I'll be around interwebz...as often as I can.
Just know if I'm not commenting, I'm not ignoring you on purpose (and if there's something important you want me to see...toss me a PM here or send me an e-mail so I don't miss anything, 'kay?). :)
