Nope. Nothing significant here... SPN meta SPOILERS

Feb 06, 2009 01:10

I'm not quite sure I've got the terminology right, but in heraldic terms, this is the wallpaper in Sam and Dean's (extremely red) hotel room:
cut for possible spoilers )

meta, red, spn, torcher

Can you figure out what the pic on the hotel wall is - I guess of a man and a cupid?

Sam and Ruby?

And it looks like the design on the hotel wall is a bunch of targets framing Sam's head.

I'm guessing, from the Greek writing and the age of the book, that it was a sailor going to his doom trying to get to a siren. Which, yeah, could be Sam and Ruby.

And did you notice the lion wallpaper?

Hrm. The things on the wall might have been halos, but they weren't red, so I'll have to look again. *G*

You know, we might as well call this the Season Of Anvils... *G*

Also, the siren telling Dean, go ahead, do it for me. That is so the anvil for what
God is going to tell Dean to do.

Dean is going to have so many God/dad issues at the end of this season - since
his dad also told him he may have to do it in 2.1.

Also, heh, their little hat tip there to Wincest was just hilarious, by making
Dean's Siren a better younger brother, not a chick, the way he/we expected.

Oh, come on.

Siren's traditionally are a male/female thing, so the inversion here is hilarious.

Dean the womanizer's favorite woman is Sam!

The guy with his mother was like a filter move to give the writers plausible deniability.

I didn't mean that one - actually I meant the illustration, but I wonder why that one is up there.

It's dated 1588 or 1538. Wish I could make out the rest. And if that is a scythe like blade over his head.

[evil grin] I wonder if he's a famous torturer or something appearing on Sam's left.

Okay, I'm clearly not reading right, here... msdori February 8 2009, 03:33:38 UTC
You must have just been shaking your head at my reply--I don't know why I thought you were talking about the book Bobby was reading.

I didn't notice that picture, but, er, I was sorta focused. *G*

No, I meant the book. At first I thought it was a picture on the wall, but, then realized it was an illustration in the book.
