The fabric for the dress came today. Dupioni silk, 7 yards of red/purple (warp and weft are different colors, so it changes color as you move and the light hits it differently.) 8 yards of ecru. I am SO EXCITED! Can't wait to start sewing this. It'll be the red on the outside, lined with the ecru, and an ecru panel (embroidered, if there's time, which, HAH) in the front. WHEEEE!
