Is it really December?

I can't believe that Christmas is next week. I've had the hardest time getting into the Christmas spirit this year. I think it is the combination of the weird weather and still living out of boxes. I really have no excuse for the lack of unpacking around here but I can't seem to find any motivation. Last weekend my parents came to visit and helped husband and I unpack and get some chores done and we accomplished so much! My mom even decorated the dining room for Christmas. Looking at the dining room makes me so happy but then I look around the rest of the house and get frustrated.

Sorry for the rambling. The constant cold I'm suffering from, the fractured ankle, the move, the constant dreary days...it's all getting to me. I feel like I'm going through the motions but not really getting anywhere. Hopefully the week off will help me regain some sense of normalcy. :(
