Groupon Coupons
I thought this whole idea was rather smart and quite thrifty! It's like restaraunt.com discounts but BETTER.

I hadn't heard about it until someone in a LJ community mentioned it, so I'm sharing the info
Here are the basics:
1. Each day Groupon features something cool to do at an unbeatable price. It could be anything from restaurant savings to tattoo discounts.
2. If you want the coupon (usually a 50% or more in savings) you click "buy".
3. The catch (dang, there's always one): you only get it if enough people join/buy that day.
#3 is the snafu. If you buy the daily coupon you don't get it (and aren't charged) unless 50 people in the city also nab it. But if you're lucky enough to have that many friends in the area and you all enjoy shopping or eating, then it's a super cool way to get awesome savings at participating places.
