OK, I'm very curious, disabled people! Which is worse, not getting help when you need it, or getting ridiculous help that obviously you don't need

pens almost every day to me. Train door buttons, turning a page on a book, driving my wheelchair. (I hate that one! Never ever grab a power wheelchair controller without asking the owner first. It's scary and dangerous. The controllers are more sensitive than most people know, and I've gotten pretty badly injured that way before

I asked a couple of the disabled customers that come in at my work each day the same question...they generally agree it is harder to not get help when you really need it, but they both smiled as they remembered times they got too much silly help they didn't need.
Sometimes the unwanted help can be really annoying too, but they handle it lightly and go on.
Oh, and I asked Troy if I can have his blind cane if he tosses it, as he was talking about doing yesterday. He's been there for 6 years, as long as I've been cashiering, and I'd kinda like a souvenier of having known him all those years, when he moves on.
