(no subject)
Back from a nice weekend in Maryborough, which is a 4 hour journey south of Rockhampton. The trip down wasn't too bad, although it rained all the way, and sometimes quite heavily. As I'm still not a very experienced driver I took it easy, stopping off at Childers for a latte.
I basically went to visit my friend Helen. We went to Eumundi markets and bought things I can vaguely justify (fancy teas and body sprays) and some I can't (tarot reading). It was soooo humid everyone was wet all day. Thankfully it got cooler that night and I even needed a doona by the end of it.
Had a windy picnic lunch today and then a long drive back. No rain except for the last few minutes into Rocky, and I know it has been raining a lot here while I've been away as when I got out of the car at my house I found myself surrounded by mossies. A lot made it inside as well (still slappin' and scratchin'- yeah).
