(no subject)
Things in my world are good... I'm wishing that I had something exciting to say, but considering where I've been for the past 6 months, quietude is a good thing.
I'm looking forward to going on a vacation in the next few months (Tom went to AZ for a week, so I think I might hit LA to see Loran).
Our garage renovation is so close to being finished, I can practically taste it. I'm so proud of Tom; he's kept this whole thing under $1000. (For those of you who know our house): we will have a brand new office where the old front door was (an addition), a new entry and playroom (or formal dining for another family someday) on the south side of the double garage (renovation), and a garage/shop in the middle where the old desk spot was-- the north garage bay (staying the same with laundry and all).
Double french doors going from our kitchen to the playroom, a real mudroom-type space, and an office to file all our crap in and have some adult space. SOOOO excited. We're about to finish the office; just a door to hang, window to install, mud/tape on the drywall, and flooring. THEN, we move in. Hopefully within 2 weeks. And then we finish the playroom, which we have to insulate, drywall, and install french doors. Voila.
I keep trying to motivate for yoga but it hasn't happened yet.
Leo was vomiting this morning :( and I kept wondering if he'd gotten some peanut butter.
Like I said, nothing exciting going on today.
