I'M GOING TO BE IN SEATTLE
TODAY! (Saturday Feb 16) at 8:00 at the Bal-Mar (a lunge on the corner of Ballard and Market). If you want to see me (because I want to see you), that' when and where to make it happen. Bring friends, S.O.s, whatever.
I haven't updated for aloooooong time. Life's priorities shift.
I am good. Right as rain. Tom and I are still engaged, hoping to make The Wedding happen financially this year (Labor Day weekend).
Tom is working independently, as he got laid off a week before Christmas (which sucked, because we were just doing well enough to stop obsessing about money). I work at a fantastic cutting-edge restaurant at the top of the tallest building in BHam (14 floors, it;s called 'Nimbus') and I love it, mostly-- when I've had enough sleep, usually.
I just sent my application in to WWU to teach Women Studies. This would supplement my restaurant gig.
The kids are awesome, when they're healthy. Leo is 1.5yo and has been a pill all week because he's gettign to that age, and because he doesn't feel well.
Mira is 7 now and gaining on us FAST. Public school doesn't suit her, but we're trying to work out a change for 2nd grade.
