To "Christianize" a people is to encourage (by force or whatever) them to accept Christ as their savior, blahblah.

To "Britishize" a people is to encourage (by colonization, force, etc.) them to become more refined and civilized.

But I can't say "Britishize". What's the word?

Anglify?
Britification?
Englandization?

haha.
